Meegan, Lawrence (Br.)

Brother Lawrence Meegen was ordained in 1941. In 1995, a survivor reported that several Xaverian Brothers, including Meegan, sexually abused him at St. Mary’s Industrial School in approximately 1945. The survivor was thirteen years old at the time, and the abuse consisted of oral and anal rape, voyeurism, and fondling. The survivor named two other potential victims. Meegen died on July 27, 1977.
