In April 2006, a 61-year-old man contacted the Archdiocese and reported that when he was eleven to twelve years old, in approximately 1956-1957, Sister Flood sexually abused him at St. Joseph Passionist Monastery School. Flood is reported to have forced the survivor to touch her breast and vaginal area over her clothes. In connection to the abuse, the Archdiocese, the Passionist Order, and the School Sisters of Notre Dame contributed to a settlement with the survivor. Flood died on December 1, 1988.
