Father Timothy Murphy was ordained on May 20, 1967. In July 1999, a man reported that Murphy sexually abused him when he was twelve and a member of the St. Charles Borromeo Parish in Baltimore. The abuse occurred in the early 1970s and consisted of inappropriate touching. As a result of the report, Murphy resigned from his position and entered a treatment facility until he died in 2004.
