Father John Mountain was ordained on June 2, 1928. In August 1995, a man reported to the Archdiocese that Mountain sexually abused him on multiple occasions between 1941 and 1943 and again between 1945 and 1949. The abuse consisted of fondling, anal sodomy, and oral rape and occurred at the rectory in St. Jerome’s Church in Baltimore, MD, and St. Lawrence Church in Jessup, Maryland. John Mountain died on October 27, 1979.
