Father Terence Evans was a pastor at St. Margaret in Bel Air, Maryland. In late 2018, it was revealed that he used his position of authority to sexually abuse a young boy by luring him into his office under the pretext of thanking him for helping him up after he had fallen on the field during a softball game. Evans then forced the survivor’s hand onto his genitals and rubbed it against them while shaking. He used his other hand to hold the victim’s hand on his genitals, making it difficult for the victim to withdraw his hand. When the Archdiocese of Baltimore investigated, the Associate Pastor at the time denied any memory of the incident, but confirmed Evans had a history of alcoholism.
