Father John Peacock was ordained in 1934. In 2005, a woman reported that Peacock sexually abused her in the 1960s in the 4th grade at Our Lady of Victory. The abuse occurred in the rectory after she was sent there as punishment. Though she could not remember the exact nature of the abuse, she believed it involved oral rape. The survivor also recalled being in other priests’ bedrooms and thinks other priests were involved in her abuse, including John Carney, who was at Our Lady of Victory and admitted to sexually abusing a young girl. In 2015, another survivor reported that Peacock sexually abused her in the 1950s while in 2nd or 3rd grade at Our Lady of Victory. John Peacock died on May 27, 1995.
