In 1997, a survivor reported to the Archdiocese of Baltimore that Alphonsus Figlewski sexually abused him in the 1930s when he was a student at St. Stanislaus in Fells Point. The abuse included repeated instances of inappropriate touching. Figlewski reportedly required young altar boys to wear “short pants” and would take them downtown on short trips.
