Father Luigi Esposito was ordained in 1964 and served in various positions at Our Lady of Pompei in Baltimore, MD. In May 2018, a survivor reported to the Archdiocese that Esposito abused her multiple times, beginning at age fourteen in 1973. The abuse included kissing, fondling, and masturbation. When interviewed in 2018, he admitted to kissing and hugging her but denied ejaculating. Shortly after, another survivor accused Esposito of kissing and fondling them.
Father Luigi Esposito is known to have hired Thomas Kuhl, another abuser, after Kuhl was fired amid sexual abuse allegations. Esposito allowed Kuhl to participate in church services despite the Archdiocese forbidding it. Esposito died on January 28, 2021.
