Cuthbert; Thibault, Joseph A. (Xaverian Br.)

Brother Joseph A. Thibault joined the Xaverians in 1933. In 2007, a survivor reported that in 1961 or 1962 Thibault molested him. The abuse consisted primarily of fondling. The survivor reported the abuse to the school principal, but Thibault was apparently not punished. Thibault later asked the survivor why he had reported the abuse. Thibault was accused in a civil suit in 2005 for abuse at Mission High School by multiple plaintiffs. Most claims were settled in that suit. Thibault died on October 8, 1971.
