Other New Mexico Scout Leaders who have been accused of sexual abuse or Scout Leaders from other states who have been accused of sexually abusing Scouts in New Mexico:

In 1994, retired Boy Scout Leader, Clark Funk, was accused of sexually abusing boys in the 1970’s in Taos, New Mexico.

In a lawsuit filed in 2010, Thomas Hickey was accused of sexually abusing a Boy Scout who was a member of his Santa Fe Troop.  According to media reports of the lawsuit, Hickey engaged several scouts in sexual abuse while in a tent on a camping trip.

Mike Kessler was a Scoutmaster that was based in Abilene, Texas.  As part of the troop activities, Kessler took Boy Scouts to a Camp Dale Resler, near Cloudcraft, New Mexico.  While at the camp in the 1980’s, Kessler is accused of sexually abusing one of the Scouts.

John Charles Roberts was a Boy Scout Leader of Troop 11 in Portales, New Mexico.  In 1993, Roberts was dismissed as the Troop Leader when he was arrested for photographing a nude 14-year-old boy.

Lee Edward Snyder was accused of sexually abusing three Boy Scouts in the middle 1980’s in a civil lawsuit filed in 1997.  In the lawsuit, Snyder was accused of providing alcohol and pornography to the Scouts and sexually abusing them at the Camp Snyder Boy Scout Camp near the Gila Wilderness.
